Do you accept and use cartoon submissions? Can the cartoon topic be general or should it pertain to fiction, poetry or art?
Dennis – Thanks for your interest! “Oyez” accepts one artist per issue, whose work appears on the front and back covers as well as in an eight-page insert. We’ve never published comics before, but there’s no rule against them, either. (Literary-related would be preferred, but again, there’s no hard-and-fast rule about this.) Our submission window is August 1 to October 1, if you’re interested in submitting.
